Have you lost your groove post Covid?? When your fitness routine is disrupted, it can impact your motivation. Here are some tips to help get it back…
* Set some goals & timeline. When you set a goal it gives you something to work towards and a timeline means you must take action.
* Ease back into exercise. If there has been a break in your routine, get back on track. But start slowly and gradually build back up to your previous fitness level.
* Try a new fitness routine. Mix it up and try new fitness classes, book in for a new gym program or some personal training sessions.
* Make your workout social. A gym buddy, make new friends in fitness classes. With friends book in some group personal training sessions, this cuts the cost and is way more fun together. That gym buddy can help you stay accountable.
* Get shopping and buy some new gym clothes. Nothing is more motivating than rocking up in your new active wear!
* A new music playlist or podcast. Make up a playlist of songs that gets you moving or even better a juicy podcast that makes the time fly.
* Sleep and rest. It is hard to keep motivated and on track when you are exhausted. Factor in rest days, more recovery classes like Stretch and get some good zzz”s.
